 | Castings Sand Iron Casting The sand castings are the most popular casting process, which is used to make large components using iron, bronze, brass and other material. The sand cores used for the formation of inner lining of hollow parts of the cast are formed from dry sand components These are developed to have a good collapsibility (the castings shrinks while cooling) to evade defects in the castings such as hot tearing and cracking. Material Range in Production : Cast Iron and SG Iron to various grades as per the requirement of Indian and International clientele in machined and unmachined conditions.

CAD Designing Specializing in 2D and 3D drawings & solid modeling designs, we also offer documentation and CAD conversion services as per the requirements of our clients. We make use of designing resources, specific methodologies, data transition & collaborative engineering to support transition of quick digital engineering CAD systems. With the help of our web-based projects management & tracking system, we keep a tab on the progress of the projects. Our procedures consist of developing data for CAD systems, including 3D solid modeling, reverse engineering, rapid prototyping & analysis. Reverse Engineering We offer reverse engineering services that are used to create ‘’as built’’ CAD drawings from the original parts. Providing complete 2D & 3D scanning solutions, we are capable of producing dense & clean data from complex machined parts, which are important for reverse engineering of a CAD-compatible surface. Our laser scanning techniques are suitable for different shapes & surface finishes such as complex parts, shiny & freshly machined parts, mixed surfaces & contoured shapes.
Working Methodology: A part, mould, die or template provided by our clients is physically scanned to capture & model the piece and then it is manipulated as per the needs of our customers.
Use of Process: It is used for keeping the same shape but changing the original dimensions (i.e., mirroring, scaling, inverting, etc).
Rapid Prototyping We provide affordable & flexible rapid prototyping solutions to our clients. Its beneficial for design visualization and lab tests by creating conceptual physical representative model of any part. This model is then used by the engineers to inspect form & fit along with performing functional tests.
This highly automatic process involves production of real & physical models from 3D CAD models. Prototyping helps , verify a design and any specific design concept can be turned into a prototype. Further, it can even replicate product performance without extra cost or time taken by conventional prototyping methods.
Advantages of Rapid Prototyping for the foundry industry include:
1.Speed: The modern foundry man readily recognizes good casting design and product testing as necessary tools of his trade, but these take time. Rapid Prototyping gives the foundry ability to get complex prototypes back to the customers' hands quickly to determine systems shrink rates and develop difficult gating. RP patterns for investment castings are especially beneficial when the product is more complicated and sophisticated. 2.Design Validation: With a solid representation of an engineering concept in hand quickly and relatively inexpensively, the customer and the foundry together can work out design imperfections, accuracy, casting potential and the ultimate functional capability of the part before committing to any production tooling, thereby reducing project cost & risk. 3.Low volume production: The rapid prototype is a cost-effective option in scenarios when engineers require when limited test models must be built without a final design. Rapid prototyping can be ideal for small quantities of complex parts. Here, one takes full advantage of investment casting’s capabilities, without the cost of hard tooling. 4.Master Pattern: RP patterns can be used as masters which can be mounted on a pattern plate. One can also cast multiple patterns from the master and mount them on a pattern plate after finishing them to proper dimensions.
